Joint efforts led by Russia and Syria to assist in the return of Syrian refugees

Russian Ambassador to Syria Alexander Yefimov
said that : “The joint efforts led by Russia and Syria to assist in the return of Syrian refugees and internally displaced persons have taken an irreversible form.”

He added that unfortunately, some countries are trying to belittle the importance of our initiative in this field or to tarnish its image in the eyes of the international community, but these attempts will not prevent us from convening in Damascus an international conference on the return of refugees.
