Discussions to complete procedures of transferring Egyptian gas to Lebanon via Syria and Jordan

Procedures of transferring the Egyptian gas to Lebanon through Syria and Jordan were discussed during a meeting between the Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla, and the Lebanese Minister of Energy and Water Walid Fayyad.

Egyptian media outlets quoted El Molla’s statement as saying that his meeting with his Lebanese counterpart came to complete the discussions on the executive procedures and the steps that have been taken to transport the Egyptian gas to Lebanon as part of the Egyptian state‘s commitment to support Lebanon to overcome the current energy crisis by providing the gas supplies it needs.
