Fired up with enthusiasm, 40 players of SARC volunteers, along with volunteers from Baraem Association and the Department of Ecumenical Relations and Development, played to win a friendly football competition held at the municipal stadium in Sweida, where cheers of the fans filled the air, yet the team spirit was at its highest between the players.
This entertaining sport activity was organized by the Syrian Arab Red Crescent volunteers, and concluded with the primary and most important objective that is conveying the key mine-awareness messages:
Don’t approach .. Don’t touch .. Call 108
Which comes as part of the national awareness campaign of war remnants and mine risks supported by the International Committee of the Red Cross.
