Member of the Assembly of Experts presidium of Iran Ahmad Khatami said that President Bashar al-Assad’s visit to Tehran is strategic, and aims to strengthening the resistance front.
Delivering a sermon during a Friday prayer, Khatami said that Syria is in the front line of resist.ance to Israeli occupation entity, and that President Assad’s visit is strategic and refutes allegations about the cooling of these relations between both countries.
Last Sunday, President Bashar al-Assad paid a work visit to the Iranian capital, Tehran, during which he met Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, and Ibrahim Raisi, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
