Electricity worker killed in terrorist explosive device blast in Hama
A worker affiliated to the maintenance teams of the Ministry of Electricity was killed while trying to repair damage caused to the electrical network as a result of attacks by terrorist groups in the countryside of Hama.
Mohammad Jumaa al-Ahmad was announced dead by the Ministry in a statement published on its Facebook page. He was killed while working along with team members to repair damage at a voltage line supplying power to a transmission plant in Hama.
The Ministry clarified that al-Ahmad was killed by an explosive device planted by terrorist groups to target electricity workers as they entered the repair site.
