Syrian Taekwondo player Aya Mubarak wins gold medal at Beirut International Championship

Syrian taekwondo player Aya Naji Mubarak won the gold medal at Beirut International Open Taekwondo Championship currently held in Lebanon with the participation of 28 states.

In a statement to reporter Coach Bassem Salama said that the performance of player Aya was at a very high level as she deserved the gold medal after beating her Lebanese counterpart just after 40 seconds of starting the game.

Salama added that Aya was honored champion of the Republic’s Taekwondo championship for four successive years and that she has high capabilities that qualify her to be an international champion.
