Rouhani: Sochi Summit to discuss situation in region including Syria
Iranian President, Hassan Rouhani, said that the fourth summit for the three guarantor states of Astana process to be held in the Russian city of Sochi will discuss the situation in the region including the crisis in Syria.
Rouhani added in a statement before leaving Tehran heading to Sochi that the terrorist organizations in Syria suffered heavy losses and many areas in the country were cleaned of terrorism.
He clarified that there are still numbers of terrorists in some areas in Syria and the process of combating terrorism will continue until they are eliminated.
Rouhani stressed the need for all foreign forces, which are present in Syria without an invitation from the legitimate government, to leave.
