Firefighting brigades and the civil defense teams in Hama province, with the support from several provinces, have been able to put out a huge fire that erupted in Ain al-Krum area in Hama western countryside and prevented the fire from reaching the locals’ houses in the area.
Local reporter said that the fire destroyed large areas of perennial trees in the forests and that the fire brigades are still working to extinguish and cool some of the fire spots in the mountains.
